A condition review of roofing, flashings, penetrations, drainage, ventilation, and visible deck concerns before a scope is set.

Gutter and downspout planning tied to roof edges, drainage paths, fascia condition, discharge points, and site conditions.

GAF shingle systems planned around roof geometry, ventilation, flashing, color, and applicable warranty options.

Timberline Solar ES 2 energy shingles coordinated with compatible Timberline roofing, electrical design, permits, and utility requirements.

Standing-seam and metal-panel options reviewed for slope, penetrations, drainage, finish, and connection details.

Clay and concrete tile systems planned around structural capacity, underlayment, flashing, drainage, and replacement access.

Modified-bitumen roofing for eligible low-slope sections, planned around deck condition, drainage, penetrations, flashing, and application details.

Single-ply TPO membrane systems planned around attachment, insulation, heat-welded seams, drainage, penetrations, and edge details.
We inspect the roof covering, accessible deck conditions, flashing, penetrations, ventilation, and drainage before defining the scope.
Your proposal identifies tear-off, deck repairs, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, selected GAF materials, permits, and cleanup.
We coordinate dry-in, roofing installation, flashing details, ventilation, daily cleanup, required inspections, and site protection.
We review eligible GAF product and workmanship warranty terms, complete final checks, and provide the project closeout information.

Roof City did an excellent job on my roof. They were professional, fast, efficient, and clean. They over- delivered on their promise to do a five- star job in two days, which included all materials and permits needed. They deserve a 10 star rating 🌟 ✨ 💫🌟✨💫🌟✨💫☀️🙌🏾😀👍🏾

The team dis an excellent job on our roof. Carlos and his team are punctual, communicative and kept the worksite clean throughout the project. There was a slight delay in the beginning but the whole process felt smooth and stress free. Alex was generous enough to add in extra service worth $759. Highly recommended, honest roofing work.

They offered a reasonable price for my roof replacement, and overall I’m satisfied with the work. The main issue was that it took quite a while to finish because of the permit process. At one point, I was worried that the roofing materials left at the property might be stolen, so I texted them about it. They responded to my message right away, which I appreciated, and luckily nothing was stolen. Overall, the price was fair, they were responsive when I had concerns, and the project was completed.

We serve Northern California across three regions: the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Sacramento, and the Central Valley. Our published guides cover 14 counties and 88 cities. Our Castro Valley and Sacramento offices support local estimating, permit coordination, and project planning across these regions.
Financing may be available for eligible projects with approved credit. Available terms depend on lender approval, project scope, and current programs. Your project manager can review the options that apply before work begins. We also accept checks, ACH, and major credit cards.
Yes. Hamilton Exteriors holds CSLB License #1078806, active general liability coverage, and the required contractor bond. We also hold GAF Master Elite and James Hardie Elite Preferred credentials. We can provide current proof of coverage before work begins.
Permit requirements depend on the project scope and local jurisdiction. Hamilton Exteriors coordinates required applications, plan documents, corrections, and inspections. Permit fees and allowances appear in the proposal before construction begins.
Roofing costs in Napa County vary by city — from Napa to Yountville. With median home values averaging $1,414,000 across the county, we see a range of project scopes. Hamilton Exteriors provides free, itemized estimates for every Napa County project with no hidden fees.
For Napa County homes in Napa County, we most often recommend asphalt architectural shingles for their balance of durability and value. Tile roofing is popular in neighborhoods like Napa for its aesthetic appeal, and metal roofs are ideal for energy efficiency in the Bay Area climate.
Most roof replacements in Napa County take 3-5 days depending on the size and complexity. We handle all permits required by Napa County and keep your property clean throughout the process.
After the devastating 2017 Atlas and Tubbs fires and the 2020 Glass Fire, Napa County adopted strict fire-hardening rules for the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI). Homes in Napa's fire zones must use Class A fire-rated roofing, ember-resistant vents, non-combustible siding within 6 feet of grade, and tempered or dual-pane windows. Hamilton Exteriors is experienced with Napa County's fire rebuild and hardening requirements — we ensure every material selection and installation detail meets current Cal Fire and local codes.
Napa Valley's distinctive character does influence exterior choices, but not through formal restrictions for most residential projects. Napa homeowners often choose materials that complement wine country architecture — earth-toned James Hardie siding, natural stone accents, and architectural shingles in weathered-wood or slate tones. Hamilton Exteriors offers a full range of colors and textures that blend with Napa's aesthetic. For properties in or near vineyard zones, we can advise on any county-specific overlay requirements.
Financing may be available with approved credit for eligible projects.
